:-[now then peeps in vespa land - I have just won? an '83 pk50 c/w a 90ss engine, (it's had a re-bore to 125cc) it has an electronic stator on it. The flywheel doesn't have a viewing window or arrow, it has a round pin as part of the casting on the outer fins and the stator & housing have two matching dots each! the two sets of dots line up, does this mean that the timing is near enough there? or should I work back from the t.d.c? the scoot worked but didnt tick over, mainly due to the previous owner using a smaller woodruff key that shattered!!!!! I cant find anything relating to this setup in google space, help needed to get a teenager on the road, thanx

;)cheers juan, but I found that info myself on t'interweb, its just those 2 x sets of factory made dots that are lined up on the stator & housing? is that the start point for a 90ss? but as the engine has had a rebore to 55mm (125cc) & the crank x stroke are the same for a 90ss & 125, aren't the timings are different - 19 deg for a 90 & 20 deg for a 125 -
