Just for a change of look i'd like to move my spare wheel to an inline position but not using an ss90 tank. Thinking using Lambretta Super Inline type of design. Anyone got any pictures of this being done before or any inspirational modification ideas.

I was looking at doing that too mate, only ever seen one NOS and they were wanting about £130 for it..... I think I may have some pics at work of it, not in till tuesday though!! Spoke to a couple of folks at fairs about them and have been told that they could build one off's for about £90... If you do find someone doing them, or you are a fabricator and can knock them up for reasonable money, I would be interested in one very much...

V100 on here knocked one up for himself, see the hydralic clutch thread in chat.
I'd not want to give him work or hassle but perhaps he'd do a limited run if the intrest/cash was there.Might be worth asking anyway.

Yeah was thinking two hoops that wrap over the wheel and fix throught two of the rim holes, a bit like this these are only £30 so might be worth bastardising one. Off to the engineers shop on Friday to pick my exhaust up so may pick his brains and see how much he'd do one for

I have one of the the same inline carriers as in the eBay link, just thought I'd point out that you are supposed to drill a small hole in the raised centre part of the floorboard to fit it, just thought I'd let you know incase you didn't want another hole in your frame!
I'm sure there's probably a way around it though.
