Did'nt know where to put this one but is there any one out there who knows about TS1 motors....I need to know what is best set up (gears, carb, pipe etc) to run a good top speed and cruising speed....not arsed about setting off from the lights like a maniac.

mine is built 4 moterways spec is stage2 broady kit 225 rd reeds 5mm carb riser 32vhsa [blueprinted] std crank length taffy mk4 exhaust af light flywheel runner retard box /px coil 100/90/10 tyres gp200 gearbox 19/46 sprockets good for 70pluss at low revs in 4th withat least 15 mph to spare new clutch[std bar taffy springs] same set up for 8 years no real probs not the fastest but suits me 15 stone plus tent change clothes sleeping bag etc carried

i run an unmolested barrel, standard asso piston, standard reed block and reeds, mb manifold, chiselspeed modified indian head,19/46 sprockets, Indian gp200 g/b, taffspeed exhaust, dellorto VHSB, standard 4 plates surflex clutch with mb springs, iwis chain and casings just blended and matched to the barrel
all home built
rewired SIL stator with lightened SIL flywheel ducati cdi and regulator - timing at 21 deg
again not the fastest but reliable and easy to ride - relatively cheap engine as nothing fancy - easy to get parts if it goes wrong ie plates, stators etc
