V9B1T on ebay... www.scooterhelp.com/scooters/V9B1T.100.sport.htmlHaving looked at Scooterhelp it suggests the Sport was a US model... you can definitely see the larger hole in the frame below the choke lever, not quite sure what it is - just a different style of fuel switch? Not sure about it, looks nice condition and ready to paint but not sure about the headset holes for key + indicator lights and all that... and can't see from pic whether there are holes for the indicator stalks at the back. Indicators, battery, extra switches... Why's the US always got to complicate shit?

Do you think it'd be possible to swap the headset for one without ignition key and indicator lights out the top, or would the frame simply not have the bore for ignition barrel?

......uhumm......nope hidden switch That's kind of cool... I wonder if there's some kind of keyfob switch you can get, ie. keyless start like a car that only works when your keys are in your pocket and you're on the scoot... Got me thinkin now ;D

i want it.no more than 200 tho. Guy says he's been offered 300 for it already I might still be ok to pay that, just because logistically it's going to cost me £100 to take it somewhere i can sand it down, either by hand or sandblaster, and then prime it... as I have no garage space. He says he's done all the hard work on it and it's solid...

I liked the beige and the green the Sports came in as standard but starting from scratch I'd be tempted to go a gunmetal/titanium or Mediterranian red. Or Ford Moonstone blue.

well done James. we need to compare notes on local painters etc. Need to get my ets floor sorted and then will be ready for blasting/painting... Your ETS floor looks no worse than my PK floor - hence why ive sped up the process of finding a new frame ;D Not sure when i'll get to have it painted, though... apparently the paintjob's going to cost me more than the frame did. (I was kind of hoping you'd decided to invest in a spraygun/booth....)

Late reply I know, but some people in the US just get rid of the indicators, and battery too I think, and go with a new/different wiring loom to save hassle.
I believe it's also done on one of the US market largeframes (Rally??) and changing the US gearchanger for one without the extra area for the switch for the Euro-market one which doesn't have it seems to be a done thing over there.

Mine had already lost the indicators, still using the original stator and loom. You can even get rid of the battery and power everything off the stator.
Seem to remember it's Spiderwebb, who's built his own loom for the sport there are instructions somewhere.
Rob ;D
