Opinions please: pk engine, polini top end with 24mm carb and leo lh exhaust. is it worthwhile getting a mazz cut crank? std pk crank looks okay. Do you think that my money would be better spent putting towards exhaust, maybe buying a HP4 instead, or just spending on beer

I'm surprised your asking something like that hank... I run a mazz in mine and am more than happy with the setup, never run without it so can't give you a comparison However, the other bits are just bolt on afterwards bits, and if I was you (although I do know you like to see them on the bench more than on the road) I would stick one in while its apart mate.. I ain't no expert but if you are going down the route of hP4 etc, then surely you can only benefit from the extra fuel/duration.... I have one in a box if you want to do a comparison to the standard though mate. ;D

(although I do know you like to see them on the bench more than on the road) well i left the std ETS crank alone, prob cos thats a large extra strong one and i didnt see a massive advantage at the time, but i guess youre right, would be silly not to change the std pk80 whilst the engine's in bits.
