yes and no just thinking that if someone in the uk does it, there may be a similarly equiped scandinavian.
Might not be dead...
might be a case of "Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology."

We have the technology." I don't know of any. Seeing how this scooter only has cost me about £100 in total so far, it could be easier to locate a new frame. I have a perfectly straight PK100 frame to play with (has no VIN, so I can stamp on what ever i want to), but it's still a PK.

I'm not scrapping it in any case, just moving it into my parents basement next to the cutdown frame i can't put back on the road right now because the Police has a picture of it. Does this fella who does the straightening have a website? I'm just thinking out loud here.

I'm not sure but SBW is probably the best bet for asking.I've definately seen the jig and the straightening service on ebay.I'd guess it was a common tool at main dealers back in the day so I'd ask around on the Scandanavian sites to see if anyone closer to you know's of one.

Are all scoots in Bergen that cheap?? no, only ones with bent frames....... sorry mate, couldnt resist it. seriously £100 is a good price, youve at least got the engine and other bits that you might be able to use on another frame. think we are pretty lucky in the uk having access to at least 2 places where they can straighten frames out at a reasonable cost.

I swapped the MotoVespa for my VNB that kept breaking down on me. Had to let it go after it blew 3 malossi 210 pistons, one set of casings and 2 std. 200 pistons in that order. The £100 is more like 80, and was for the new carb-kit. You know how I felt about the VNB Svint1. now off to get drunk.

Ok, it's time to do another update here seeing how the forum is so busy to day. I've decided to let the MotoVespa frame rest until next winter, and I'm about to start on the 90 Racer. No bodywork, lets spend on the fun stuff... I rebuilt a 2.56 primary with the GSF repkit the other day. I got an ET4 fork thats going in once I get it shortned. I have some fun stuff on the way over from Terry. I just got some reinforced selector springs from Taffspeed. Then i got 2 pay checks today when I was only expecting one, so I just charged a nice sum to my VISA with SIP ;D ;D So, once all the stuff arrives I'm ready for some fun weekends in the workshop. Oh, and I'm going to totally make an arse of my self by using the Beedspeed drops from the 50 special. got this today:

GSF-rep kit: Finally got some stuff from SIP after twenty, 20! days... Still waiting for the kit. Is this the right way around ? maybe I should open the instructions... Is this normal? (flat spot) are these any good? I'm hoping it will make jetting a bit less of a hassle.

i bought one of those but havn't used it yet. I did see a thread on the yahoo group saying they restrict the fuel flow? not sure whether thats right or not. some people report using them with no problems whatsoever.
