PK50S with 125ETS engine, soon to be 130 Polini not sure about carb/exhaust/upgearing yet, new forks to go in pending disc conversion (can't afford kit yet!) mudguard - sprayed up the old PK one, but dont like it, maybe fit a 'hugger' or a V50/90/100 one, maybe somebody can tell me how easy they adapt?

A 130 won't give you a lot more than an ETS barrel in itself,if your barrel and piston is good I'd put the money to use elsewhere at the moment.
As for the mudguard go with a hugger if you like the look or I'd use either a T5 or SIP cutdown T5 instead of a V or Primmy one.The rounded shape will look shit against the angular lines of a PK.

this is a pk50 (130) with rounded mudguard, doesnt look so bad? no? maybe T5 better - do they fit straight on or do they need adapting? the piston's shagged, it was seized. barrel seems ok, but just thought for another £50 or so I'd get a whole kit. polini/malossi/dr ?

Look's shit IMHO,wrong lines altogether.
T5 mudguard? Not sure as I've never tried it but it can't be that hard to sort out.
And I might be intrested in taking your ETS barrel off your hands as mine has a couple of broken fins.PM me if you fancy a couple of quid in your back bin.

looks good, anyone know if that hole on the side will fit onto a pk125 fork though? (its for a px) if it doesnt, then it just wont work right

I'd say t5 or hugger, PURELY for the lack of ugly seam down the middle!

i do have a battered pk mudguard, might try a cutdown, wonder if that dremel will give a nice edge or maybe Mr Angle Grinder will have to get to work

Looking a shitload better than mine, nice one Hank.
Is it just a simple swap for the single seat (one day i'll have one), does it just use the old frame mounts?

yeah, same hinge fixings and same fixing plate at rear - i have seen very similar seats on ebay, beedspeed & SIP where they supply with a pin type bracket (similar to non-pk's) for the rear which just bolts into the same holes in the frame. they do look better than the ugly double seats and two people on a smallframe doesnt really work that well!

If you go for the Olympia, which is said to be better than its reputation, use at least a new spring - or a stiffer Taffspeed if available. My Olympia cruziform works fine yet with new spring (500ish miles)

who said There's no exhaust worth having for a small frame that you can fit a spare wheel with.
