I'm not talking mod mirrors, I'm talking a single mirror on the right hand side for purely practical reasons.
who runs a legshield mirror? are they any good? i know that they might mark or bend the legshield - not bothered about that, i'm talking PK here. just dont want one on the headset, they look naff (apart from shane's 2 pence sized one that he can't see anything in ;D)
never had a mirror on a scooter in my life, but i'm fed up with looking back

I had a leggie mirror once.
Only thing it was any good for was seeing that there was a car (somewhere) behind you at night, cos you would see a light in it. Other than that it vibrated so much it was fucking useless.

Oz- the mirror looks good, is it actually effective? or do you find yourself looking over your shoulder all the time?

Mirror is spot on.....quick glance down, see a car in it, drop down a gear, grab a bit more throttle, and pull out in front of the unsuspecting motorist with ya front wheel in the air ;D

oz, you should of put it on the other side of the bike to try help balance out that px engine! ;D When I sit on the bike I make sure I 'dress' to the left. This more than compensates for the weight of the engine ;D

hi...i'm resurrecting this thread cos i hope to be riding my scoot again fairly soon and i need mirrors. the leggie ones vibrate too much - anyone got any other ideas for decent mirrors? i don't mind headset ones as long as they look ok on a cut down, so mod-stylee is out any ideas

ah the carbon look - did you have to adapt them to fit to headset, hank? and are they tall enough to see anything without crouching over?
they sell mirror vibration dampers on that site - good idea that!

just used one of the L shaped mirror brackets - two bolts into the headset and the other for the mirror. the thread on the mirror is a fine pitch, maybe 1.25? will check that. the view isnt bad and it doesnt vibrate too much. i tried a legshield one and that was a waste of time.
