I've had a few custom made wiring looms recently from Beedspeed (whom , it seems fashionable to slag off on scootering chat forums at the mo) . Spoke to allan at beedspeed who advised me that they use a retired RAF electronics engineer these days to make their looms these days as I understand the previous guy was crap, hence the bad press.
Anyway £20 for a very well made primmy/rally/px hybrid loom sounds alright to me in comparison to spending money on Maplins bits to make a shit one yourself.
SIP looms are ridiculously expensive and this carlsberg export is goin down a treat ;D

not had a wiring loom from beedspeed, but i do try to order most of my bits from them, though their stock range obviously isnt a patch on SIP's. never had any problems at all, posted out very fast. just sent a stator plate to be rewired/tested - £8.99 + postage + any addt bits that might need replacing, can't go wrong at that price.

I've had several problems with Beedspeed sending me the wrong parts/outright crap on occasions and that was even dealing directly with Alan and not the counter monkeys.Other times they're bang on,pot luck I suppose.
I will say they're pretty keenly priced for electrical systems and repairs though and I'll still use them for looms and stator rebuilds if not other things.

Beedspeed eh?
Had enough of them when they decided it was perfectly acceptable to let other people order stuff, and pay for it with MY credit card.
Thing is, they KNEW what they were doing.
Like most scooter shops as well they seem to know fuck all about vespas.
And relax...

i like beedspeed, allways been really prompt and helpfull.... can't say much for TWE or PM...... TWE spent about ten years getting stuff in stock that they originally said they had in, and had the cheek to be all haughty and impaitent when i just wanted to know where my stuff was.... PM make nice exhausts but they know it a bit to much...... the old boy that somtimes answers the phone's nice and helpful though

Have never had any issues with Beedspeed and have used them for years and years. Alan is always helpful and they have never ever had a problem with giving advice. One of the only dealers who would ever give me the time to help fix something rather than just ordering new parts. Nath was also as good, but dont knowwhether hes still there, havnt rang them for a while. Their looms i always thought were a bit chunky. Very good though. I'd always recommend Dave Nelson for any looms.

Like most scooter shops as well they seem to know fuck all about vespas. Most people who work at beedys have vespas over lammys, they deffinatly have more vespa parts in there magazine.

I eventually got the 'right' loom from beedspeed (for an et3) and it had no speedo light cable, no earth for the cdi, no spade connectors for the ignition switch and the wrong spade connectors for the rear brake switch. It was all stuff that was shown on the enclosed wiring diagram so i'm pretty sure it wasn't the wrong loom. I'd tell alan the problem if i could get through on the feckin phone...
Don't mean to knock beedspeed as much as i come across on here cause they've got an extensive stock but it seems to me that as the company's grown the different parts ain't communicating .
