That would look crazy with a proper engine kitted with a orange parma glazed with a see-through cowl...maybe a matt black paint to go with that..

sorry ,dixie, i should have said welcome mate, welcome, your new smallie is sound , but, i hate to say some of the members find large engines put into smallframes a bit , and the reasons are 1, we like them as they should be,( all right tune the fuck out of them ;D 2, nowdays with advantsments in engineering, there realy is no need ) look at some tech threads on here DAME, theses engings kick arse, :D3 they just dont ride right, back in the 80s,many people did this, many of the members on here but time has moved on, anyway each to there own and all that welcome but rem,ber you may get some stick all the best mate , russ.

haha... yeah welcome mate.. have a look round the forum at all the stuff thats available... the little smallie engine itself is a 'little' better in design than the large ones.. Worse thing about a lardy lump in a smallie is it ruins the handling as russ said.

aside from the obvious "lardy engine in a smallie frame" debate, i like the exhaust! ;D

lol. thanks for comments, it seems to handle well.Paint will be bright green and matt black, not sure which to have as main colour tho. For the guys who prefer smallie engines, I'm just doing up a 100 sport with pk135 malossi engine for my daughter. And yes, I'm one of those who had one of these 20 years ago ! lol

aside from the engine discussion, thats a very nice job (and quick too!) ;D
Q1: is there a seperate reflector? Q2: did you fit a number plate light? Q3: no problems with the reg plate & light not being able to be seen from the other side? Q4: is that a sip hugger?
and finally, how does it handle?

Hi Hank, no separate reflector and there is a number plate light in the rear light. No problem light being on the side but i might put a couple of LED's on the back frame as my missus says you can't see much of scoot from a distance behind.(in the dark!). handles great, just running in at mo, but is gonna need taming I think, Just got a new Gordon driver screen for it off e-bay too. Hugger is a SIP px one, slightly modified for the pk forks
