Hey, I might be able to make that one! Three Sisters is superb; I organised a track day there in '00... its ok to watch but i beg to differ on the 'superb'.. its shite! Yeah, it probably is on a shit little shopper bike, but I was on the best handling bike built before about 1990, riding rings 'round Laverdas and Guzzis etc. ;D

As I have only ever ridden a 90ss round there I take it you are referring to this bike as a shit little shopper bike...if so then I wonder what you are doing on here? By shit i maen that circuit is dangerous.. the fastest section has no run off whatsoever. You crest the hill at 80mph any mistake by you or someone else taking you out will seriously hurt you. Virtually every racer there hates it.. the surface has gone and its indredibly bumpy now. Ten years is a long time. The amount of accidents and injuries sustained over the weekend kind of shows how bad it is.
John was racing sunday.. he didnt miss any races did you john?
Below is Charly's crash.

And here is Josh Brown on his 70cc happy shopper setting a 1.02 lap time on the full circuit. The only faster person all weekend as far as I can see in the results was Stacey Killworth on his Triumph T120 R at 101.6

top pictures Tony, john with right toe slider down QUALITY... Hope Charlie and his bike are OK..... Was anyone badly hurt What is the caliper then... stage 6 SIP... ? On the shopping bike comments, it seems the in thing throughout the scooter scene nowadays to ridecule ourselves. possibly because as scooterists we dont take ourselves to seriously.. after all we ride small capacity machines that werent designed to do the things we ask of them. i.e hurtle around a track at nearly twice its original factory speed or travel from one side of america to the other.... im sure Perkins post is just tongue in cheek daftness that said when we used to cruise up and down the seafront on our scooters in the 80`s, if somebody called them hairdryers or shopping bikes, there could only be one outcome.. AGGRO...... ;D ;D ;D

People always get hurt there... it was this place that stopped drunkmunkey in his tracks and broke his ankle last year. Worst injury I saw over weekend was a vintage sidecar passenger whose arm went through the side wheel and jammed in the spokes... blood all over the wheel... i hope he is ok.

Yeah, sorry Tony, I was joking. My Morini handled superbly but was so over-engineered it could never make a serious racer. I sold it because I wanted to build something completely opposite. Not meaning to piss anyone off, I was only having a laugh...

Thanks for the pics they make me look quicker than i am ;D Yes the caliper is an sip item, nightmere to bleed up but now working very well, fitted with the std pads as the double H race pads did not get hot enough round 3 sisters to work properly. also the disc is a fully floating disc from a differant scooter which im still evaluating and if i think it works well enough i will spill the beans. The shocker has to be wound up that much to cope with the dive on braking i need the stronger spring as fitted to Tony's just waiting to get one. Had to stop using rear brake on the hairpin as the rear kept locking up as there was no weight on it due to the keen front end. Hope to have it all sorted for Cadwell. hope everyone that came enjoyed it as much as i did, haveing watched Terry/Norrie/Tony/Fast Eddie race round 3 sisters i always said i would do that 1 day and this week end was my first full race meeting on the 90ss round there. 5 races 5 finishes no problems what a scooter. ;D
