thanks guys, i like speed! ;D i was racing in a one engine class called tkm Senior at msa level, 112 cc 18bhp upto 17000rpm and depending on gearing about 70mph very quickly, this was the class Jensen cut his teeth on. i was racing for about 4 years in this class, i love it but i dont get the time these days as with work . i missed having a two stroke so i got myself a smally to play with to burn up all the old blokes in town riding around at 45mph on px's and lammys

Whenever the un-initiated (particularly bikers) ask me why I ride scooters I always try and use the go kart analogy. Doing 30 in a fiesta doesn't feel fast but doing 30 on a go kart with your ass 2 inches from the ground with little wheels and limited suspension feels a lot faster. Likewise with a bike, a hondasakisuki doesn't feel fast at 60 but on a scooter with 10 inch wheels it feels a lot faster - and more fun ;D

You would lucky to get 100mph out of a 125cc gearbox kart let alone a rotax max on a British kart track .you be more like to get about 80mph in a rotax .250cc karts on short circuit tracks just about make 110 on the main straight and direct drive ( no clutch )makes for a better driver.

Yeah, 'scuse that Matt, I tend to get a bit gobby when tipsy... I went for a drink or three or four with some chaps from college after a 12 o'clock finish, so yeah. Sobered up a bit with food and time. Disregard last transmission. I do have a Rotax, though! ;D
