I took this photo at the Langbaurgh Racing Circuit (Middlesborough) back in 1991 4 SS90's in all their glory - looking cool as foook in my eyes. Some may say sacrilege, I say on the track, where the sportiest Vespa ever made BELONGS Maybe Tony could shed some light on the owners, and the scooter set-ups. .. obviously Norrie's ...

My sparring partners from 1990 in group 1. Number 14 is Trevor Sharpe 52 is Duncan Baker... the two no.4 bikes are Norries.. the green one is his group one bike and the other a group 3. Trevors old bike was raced last year by Rob Reese and the chassis belongs to jb. I dont know what happened to dunky bakers bike. But i reckon Norrie still has his two.

1990 was my proudest moment in beating the master! We are still good friends and keep in touch today. Those group 1's were little 100cc bikes. Most of em were 43stroke with et3 barrels Norrie's was a long stroke type. I'd love to see any more pics matey. 88/89/90 were my serious years until now that is. Thanks for the kind words...i'd have loved to have had this motor back then.

All parked together id guess Norrie`s "Team Vespa squad".... but for sure Tony will likely know... I spoke to Norrie at Darley Moor the other week, what an absolute star he is.. I could listen to his stories of yesteryear ALL DAY LONG... Although I don't envy the shoulder replacement OP he is waiting for ( ouch)..

Oh. Can now. Green one is Norries group 1. One in far left is Trevor sharpes group 1. The other yellow one is dunky bakers group1. The other no4 bike is Norries group 3. 91 I packed up racing to get married and stuff but those three group 1 bikes I raced against in 1990
