EDIT - It's just occured to me - it looks like it might bash the floor quite a bit, am I right?

Is anyone on here waiting for one of these pipes to arrive in the post? I won one on ebay for a good price and am still waiting for it to come. I've asked the guy for an update a few times and each time he replies by asking me for a phone number for the courier - but still no pipe....

Ive had 2 pipes of him the first one smallframe took about 2 weeks and the p200 about 3 weeks. He makes them to order if you win the auction but buy them now there in stock but costs loads more.

Righto, started putting my bike back together today, at the point of mounting my nice new GFProject exhaust and realise that it doesn't fit I am running a 3.50 continental twist tyre and the exhaust rubs badly. What is the minimum clearance that one would expect between tyre and exhaust? Now is this going to be a case of the exhaust manifold being at a slightly off angle or is it not designed to run with 3.50 tyres? What is the difference between the "height" or radius of a 3.00 tyre and a 3.50 tyre? The manifold bracket appeared to be slightly offset (wonky) so I am hoping Mr GF will be obliging in sending me one with a revised angle..... I'm not in the market for new tyres at the moment....

i like to have 10-15mm which you would have if you fit a 300 tyre

Imperial tyre have the same width and height (profile) so dropping to a 3.00 tyre reduce the height by .50 of inch, which falls in the middle of Ash's 10-15 mm allowance.

hmmm - I've just fitted a 90/90/10 dunlop tyre and the exhaust clears but only by about 4mm - that is still too tight for me, allowing for expansion, it'll rub when hot. Where does a 90/90/10 lie in relation to 3.50 & 3.00?

Tom, I have a complete wheel with 300.10 tyre if you want to borrow to check clearance.

Where does a 90/90/10 lie in relation to 3.50 & 3.00? the 90/90/10 are the same width as a 350 but not as tall, so they dont gear up just gives you a bigger footprint 9cm / 2.54 = 3.54 inches

For the standard DR, you want the road version and should be ok with 19/19 carb. Just need to upjet.
