Will a damper like this automatically provide better braking while still using drum brakes? Or is that wishful thinking?

It'll give no more braking force but should eliminate a fair bit of dive.

Ahh mr juan boss....you have said yes and no in the same sentence I would say;) It may not give you better 'braking force' but certainly better braking overall and therefore stopping quicker.
The reason is that with standard suspension it bottoms out straight away and if you hit a bump in the braking area then the thing will go airborne losing braking. If you have a better damper that can soak up the bumps keeping the tyre in contact with the road then you will have more braking time.

Yeah well, suppose I was too lazy to expand on that. ;D If anyone buys one of these please give us a review on how it performs, it certainly looks a tidy bit of kit. From a purely aesthetic angle it looks a whole lot better than a Bitubo and if it performs as well, or better hopefully, that's a tidy saving.

Smart! Do they do one for the PK125 fork? Wonder how it compares to the Bitubo...

Not that I've seen but I noticed they're also doing rears and front PX style so adapt as needed?

Has anyone any feed back on this damper? Also the sip site says estimated delivery is February 2012, Does this mean when they have enough orders they'll get some made? I need a damper that doesn't bottom out quite so easily as a standard one but looks nice too. Mel

Yep. I thought it was a nice upgrade from the other readily available mid range stuff out there. Good for street use. Not as hefty as the Bitubo & a bit cheaper.

Estimated date of items to come back in stock is generally optimistic at best.
