hello to everybody, I have just red jonnysnatch is almost on fabrizzi road. I have just added on my site (crankcase section) some pictures and on the crank section a modified fabrizzi crankshaft.
OZ I saw your T5 on ET3.it I love it. First of all for a the really different choice of components and the keeping of the scooter soul.

I'm wondering about the benifit of tapering the webs in the "hour-glass" fashion as you put it. What is the reason you do this,is it a question of balance or flow? Oh yeah,we tend not to feed Oz's ego on here. ;D

Also,I was looking at the carburation section and noticed you recommend the 20/20 upwards for the Polini ti.I take it from that you would modify the 19/19 manifold by means of a sleeve as you did with your Pinasco manifold.

hello Juan the hour-glass is for question of flow and to have slight less primary compression, depends what kind of engine you want it can be desiderable or necessary. The hourglass, this is the name I gave to it, in some engine proved to give me better torque without loss at high rev, something that I found instead sometimes using a special lip. This doesn't mean it is always better. I use fullcircle and special lip too.
For the carb: you can find the 20 for PK or malossi 20. Sip sells it. You can mount this last one with no modification at your 19 manifold.
Please since my site is still in construction if there are obscure parts or evident mistakes or else please I will be gratefull if you guys would point them out to me. Tanks in advance.

Okay, thanks for the explaination. I'll have a good look at it tomorrow to help you with the spelling and grammar on the site*.English is probabley the hardest language to master especially in written form but considering it is not your native tongue you have a very good grasp of it. Normally I would have went with a 24 and the proper manifold but the 19 manifold turned up at the right time and I already had a spare 19/19.But I can steal the 20/20 from the ETS motor in the short term at least. ;)Even although it seems to me,in theory at least,it'll be like running a 16/15 instead of a 16/16 on a 43mm stroke motor. While on the subject of the ti,will a mild taper lower the compression too much for that application given it has a partly reed induction? *-Okay,I've just looked at the exhaust text you've added and I'm going to have to hand that over to Oz to edit for you. It's far too scientific for me to handle.

tank you Juan, be carefull with PK ETS 20, you can't mount it directly on 19 manifold. If you want to use the 19 manifold you have to get the dell'orto malossi 20. For the exhaust text it should be ok since it is something I wrote few yers ago and already used by somebody with which I collaborated, but I will take your word when you said it is too technical so I will do some modifications to make it more interesting for everybody. So if you could send it for editing to OZ maybe it is better to wait the simplifyed version. I will try to do it today. If you need a 20 or something else just give me a list wit a PM. I have also a scooter shop and it happens to have parts that we don't sell and we don't use (since we use only new parts) and after a while they just go for space reason. If you want to have a look at my shop: www.piaggiocenter-geneve.ch

I'll have a think about what I need and I'll get back to you about it,thanks.
As for the exhaust section it's probably my lack of scientific ability rather than it being too technical. ;D
Just a thought but perhaps you would like to list your spare parts in the for sale section?I'm sure that someone could have a use for them,I always think it's better to sell them on to someone who has a use for something, even if it's at a nominal price..I'll happily use secondhand parts if they are in reasonable condition.

bu I would not sell them, I would give them away. In case I have something usable just need the refund for the postage. So it is not too bad.. the thing is that is not that I have many things, but it happens..
