Bloody 'ell, hopes things are better with yourself and the scoot than what it looks like from the vid. Felt for sure you'd done your right collarbone at least from the impact with the ground. Surprised to see you get up and move so quick, adrenaline I suppose. Rob

What happened was as I entered the corner I saw the new lads on autos ahead. The closing speed is mad on newcomers and you dont have time to make a last gasp change of direction. So I went wider to give myself the right place as I would enter the straight hopefully to one side of them..What I didnt account for was the lack of grip out there. The rear end was bouncing slightly as I laid the bike in.. maybe it was already sliding? But as I put the power on it just spun up..so you back off and then of course it grips and away we go over the top. You can see the effect of the rear wheel gripping as the front comes right up in the air. It has minor damage really. I'm hoping scootrs will sell me some headsets. I'll repair the original one anyway.

Gutted for ya mate, still, like others have said, pleased your ok, and the hornet got off lightly too by the looks of things...
Hope it hasn't bruised your confidence, and that your back at the front of the pack again soon.
;D

Cheers for the comments fellas. I've never really been too bothered by crashes. Only once it took me a while to get back on the pace and that was after a dislocated a knee or hip in 89. Today has been busy..sorting new bars-done, leathers in for repair-done, new lid ordered-done and bike is going in wednesday for the paint. Got to get the bars bushed when i get them and painted. So all systems go.

Filled it up to the brim with 2 litres of sae... That's right ain't it? ;D we changed the spring on the conversion oil seal cause we needed to reseat it but apart from that I haven't touched it. You'll be telling me to retorque the head and other such madness next I figure I only have to make it one way then there'll be loads of experts with tools to fix it...
