I think any lardy bashing is mainly aimed at P Ranges... after all this is the Vespa Smallframes forum.. However... I do like a GS..and now we have a proper 'other' section its all go. So Marcus.. where are the pics

I dont class gs's as lardy as in the way i think of pranges! Gs's are curvy and feminine... in fact its the Prange I class as a 'mutant'!

I saw the mutant at Nürburgring. I'm not a fan of lardies, but I really like this one. I don't want to "spoil the beans" like you guys would say, so I don't post pictures unless Marcus tell me its no problem...
I understand that due to some minor problems with the carburretor Marcus drove in midfield, but I'm not sure of that. My interest layed on the smallframes going wild...
Marco Büttner (your new sponsor) was close to 2:50 in the practice time... In the race he pushed harder and harder each round. I think (handstopped) he may have gotten very close to 2:50, someone told me perhaps underneath it. I'm not the king of time taking, same as the other guy, so don't trust us. ;D
Wo knows, maybe he could get close to... ah, let's wait. The official timings aren't online yet.
Sadly Marco broke his (right?) heel after race when his bike made a highsider due to something he named "going bollocks". Nothing more, nothing less.
Stoffis motor blow up at 4th gear full throttle going uphill... sounded harsh.

yeah I spoke to marco.. he said he had broke his record.. good stuff. Is there to be an official time sheet as per last years event?Didnt he break his heal pulling wheelies? ;D Stoffi having more trouble with the falc.. mmm.. feisty motors indeed.. lets hope he solves it.. So Marcus.. any pics mate?

Official time sheet is not yet out... if there will be one, I don't know.
Yep, pulling wheelies, chrashed in the fence with his heal. Ups. ;D

inofficial time sheet is out but cannot be published because of insurance reasons (remember its classified as a time trial) - and a new smallframe record has been set by Marco right between Charlies and Tonys lap time. Tony, I suppose you have to come there again in September. ;D @ Dirty: It was rather the bent fork that made her handle wobblier than a wobbly thing, which resultet in 25s longer lap times compared to my SF times last year. Second the ultralong malossi primary with standard PX fourth is a bit over the top too But nevertheless a great event, again.

Well done to Marco. I have spoke to him via email.. It gives me something to aim for.. I may go to the may event next year tho as its a flag start and so its more like a race.
Ahh.. marcus.. firstly thankyou for your text today. Very polite of you... And I'm sure a certain small person on here mentioned to you very early on in your project those forks were bent... ;D

Second the ultralong malossi primary with standard PX fourth is a bit over the top too The bent fork, right. You mentioned it after race but... well, maybe to much infomation at once for my overworked brain. Had 2 nights to work before and sleept (slept?!) 2,5 hours before driving off to stahlfix for transport. But it was a nice day at the track and fun meeting some people never seen before, including you. Slowly all the nicknames become people... You're going in september to the Schaltrollercup? I'm working hard to get a smallie to ride and some practise on track for that event. I've licked blood allready last year at a cart track, but after that sunday...I have to try it for real. One question I got, what is that black paint you used on the cover? It's more "matt" then everything I've seen, including tar-based spraypaint...

Hi. The paint is called "wrinkle paint" or "Schrumpflack" as used on rocker covers, dashboards, etc on 60ies cars.
And please do post pictures and spill the beans if you like.
