So on the first one he's leaning as far forward as he can, with a big weight attached to the forks and it's still sky high in the air, shitting hell, I need to find out what underwear he uses.

Not the best pic but just stumbled across this photo of a nice little smallie I spotted in Paris when my band played a gig there a couple of years ago. The French lad it belonged to was sat on some steps over the road and came over to say hello.

They are in this month's scootering. A Lot of work but not my cup o tea either, prefer paint.

Bare metal seems to be a bit of a trend at the moment.
I imagine it's a lot of upkeep.
I quite like the contrast between brushed and polished though.

I'd love the nice flat surfaces to cover them with paint, can appreciate the workmanship gone into each tho, really skilled.

I know the Mods are busy chaps but is there any chance this board could be tidied a bit? There a lot of posts that no longer have pictures attached, I reckon you could half the number of pages now and make browsing much more enjoyable.

Thanks guys.. I may put the proper fender on if/when I tire of the hugger.. I just don't want it to sit too high.. so I'm mulling over ideas on alternate mounting methods.
Thanks w/ your help brainstorming on shock ideas Steve.. it turns out that I could actually get a shock like the BGM, raise the top mount and I don't think the fender will hit the fork.. it's not even close as it is.. so maybe down the road I'll swap shocks and lower the front a bit.

as i said on facebooger when i saw this , very nice ,good to see some original thoughts put into a project an carried out well .definitively not another scooter designed by the "committee" on facebooger an ruled by the "fashion-police" . i think i would put a muddy on ,not a fan of huggers myself ,but might be a shame to hide the shock as its so pretty . I like. Just my personal preference but I prefer full front mudguards. Striking paint job.
I also liked it when someone on here used an old largeframe front with pk forks which looked good as well.

Thanks davet.. and thanks henri... the paint is pretty gross in person.. it's brushed on and splattered on.. nothing fancy.. just paint from hardware and art store thrown over grey primer coat. I'm hoping it'll get better some distress and age.

Thanks Scudd.. I'm already thinking of ways to mount the fender I have so it doesn't sit so high on the conversion fork.. a friend on FB is doing a low mounted fender.. I'm watching his progress for ideas.
Cheers
