my thoughts 2 , theres a guy in surrey who does shop display vespa's like this , mostly rotten non runners ,some with out engine internals just cases ,charges from 2000 for a vesp n 3000 for a lamm, has the nerve to call himself a restorer , suppose coz there aint a nice name for a guy who's perfected painting filler over rust , an he's not veitnamese either, H

hi guys! pretty new here and I just got my hands on a laid up 125 ET3. been surfing the net and wondering why the ignition lock appears on some handlebars...while mine doesn't have one.
also, my et3 was registered in 1999 so I assume it was the later batch (from 1980 to 2000) that was produced by Motorino Del Vento in Japan.
any insight would be much appreciated.

Regarding the ET3, I think the earlier versions of the primavera didn't have an ignition key, whereas when it was upgraded to the ET3 I think the ignition key appeared. But then again I could be completely off my trolley.
Run the frame and engine numbers through scooterhelp, going to give you a good idea of date of manufacture, not neccessarily the register date tho

Thanks vinrouge.
Chassis No.: VMB1T152954 Engine No.: VMB1M158114
I ran them through Scooterhelp and emailed Daniel. His numbers go up to 148344 and he isn't too sure if production continued.
Trying to upload pictures with the "Insert Image" feature here but they're not turning up haha
