Best £20 I ever spent.......4000 miles from new, non runner....needed a new exhaust (the original was rusted to hell) ,and fresh petrol! ;D ;D ;D ;D Scruffy, scratched, surface rust...but for a v90 it was surprisingly quick and 100% reliable.

Hi Michael,welcome.
Sorry,I know bugger all about those flywheel covers,it's the first time I've seen one.I think it's mint and I'd be intrested in buying one if you can lay your hands on another.

Actually I have 2 of them. And one is on a bike I'm gonna sell.. So I'm sure we could work out something. It's better that a passionate smallframe guy gets it, than some spoiled rich kid . Well maybe not rich... but ignorant ;D. I'll just get the standard repro for it then. Back to bussiness. I was thinking a trade.. maybe for a malossi 136.. But I guess a watercooled zirri could do. Edit: (added a picture of the cover I'm talking about so this post would seem less like thread hijacking. Btw, didn't bother borrowing a trailer for the next two. We just put them in the back of the car. Got cozy with the blue one. lovely gasoline fumes.)

is that flywheel cover plastic or metal? looks similar to those PK turbo ones that crop up on ebay quite often.

is that flywheel cover plastic or metal? looks similar to those PK turbo ones that crop up on ebay quite often. It's metal, hence the rust I will make a thread on the BBS, see if anybody knows why it's different.. Maybe it's got something to do with the fact that they are restricted to go 30 km/h (it's got this crank www.down-and-forward.de/bilder/kw_schweden_1.jpg, ultralow gearing, restricted exhaust "elbow") I just don't see what the point would be. So my money is on it being something about the cold weather A pic of my 50S before sandblasting and welding:
