Hi Lads,
Completely new to smallframes and Im on the look about for some casings to play about with. I have a pair that I am going top look at tomorrow. Is there any thing that I should look out for (ie common problems) before I pass over my hard earned.

You'll need to check a few things.
Check that they match. Check all the threads. Check the bearings housings. Check for cracks. Check that they aren't warped.
I think that's about it.

Check the condition of the sealing pad - where the crank webs seal against the inlet port, important if you're keeping it as rotary induction. Can be repaired with devcon/jb weld but best if they're mint...

And excessive play in gear selector shaft.
