When my ET3 had a DR 135 kit put on, it was fitted with an exhaust which is either a Leovince or a copy. It is way louder than I would like and I am wondering what would be a good exhaust with the minimum of noise. What about the Sito?

You could try repacking the muffler or better still get a ET3 cigar for it. Only use a Piaggio or Technigas one if you do though.

I agree with Juan, the standard (cigar? ) et3 one should work ok. ;D

I think SIP do them with downpipes for a not unreasonable price, if memory serves. They do SS pipes as well if I'm not mistaken, and they're done in a lovely chrome finish! ;D Problem is, both the ET3 and the SS pipes are bitches to get off when you need to change the back wheel...

How much of a rush are you in? I have a standard ET3 exhaust on my ETS which will be replaced when I do my 'big' engine; in the meantime I could fit my HZ exhaust, but it'll be a few weeks before I can get in my garage...

Ooh... no rush, really! Maybe we can come to some arrangement... Thanks.
I wish the place that swopped mine over had at least given me the original back!
Nearly had my eye out getting the springs off the Leovince (to paint it coz it had surface rust). One came off fine, the other took 10 mins of messing about, then pinged off at high speed and whizzed past my temple.... Will wear goggs next time, as I've heard embedding a rusty spring in the eyeball is not that healthy!

John, is much easier removing the springs with a puller. Next time you need one pop around and you can borrow mine. I do have a pipe too minus the down pipe and bracket though.
