All manual small frame engines will fit in your PK, but you can uprate your 50cc engine to either 125cc or above using either a standard 125 cylinder, or a DR, Malossi or Polini kit. All that is required are longer cylinder studs ( from a PX125/150), a bigger carb, then grinding out the transfer feeds in the cases and a uprated primary drive such as a standard Primavera or PK125/ETS. As regards fitting a Auto engine- its a lot of hassle and you might as well buy a ET2/4 rather than going through all that bother. Hope this is of help Paul.

Not entirely true, Paul... There are two different stroke lengths, and with the shorter 50 length the largest you'll be able to feasibly go up to is a 110cc top end, and you'll need to upgear it if you want to do more than 30/cover any distance on both wheels. This, of course, involves splitting the casings, so while you're in there and and if you really want a 125, you might as well upgear it, stick a longer stroke crank in there and whack a 125 top end on. If you do that, make sure you get a crank with the right sized cone! That, or you can simply buy an entirely new motor off Terry, he's got a 125 engine up for grabs. Flog the old one for funds, and bob's your uncle! 2 engines. ones a pk80 s with a polini kit on other ones a pk 125 with et3 casings with a dr kit on which has only done 20 miles. both engines run fine but i only have one 12 volt stator other ones a 6 volt. feel free to make an offer pick up only if interested. 07828135166 terry can send pictures through phone if wanted. im in south east kent

I bought my gas flow XL taper crank for £60+ seal and bearing from a forum member, seek and ye shall find!! ;D My missus have uprated her V90 lump to primmy spec for cheap as well, by the time you fork out for the 125cc engine and postage you might of well spent ( less) cash on the uprate bits and bobs, people on here will be more than happy to help with advice and bits. All the best Paul

That's fair enough buddy, and you do speak the truth, but I was just thinking that if it's a stock 50 and he wants to go up to 125, he's gonna need to split the casings and get a primmy crank, as opposed to the ickle 50 stroke, that's all I was trying to say...

No probs at all chap ;D yeah its a bit more hassle sorting out the 50 lump but you can spread out the costs etc, If I had the option I'd probably go for the 125 engine ( Lazy git! ) all the best chap Paul
