started off in bits but complete, a 1970 v90. bought for £230 got the frame blasted welded and lead filled to make it solid again. then primered and given a guide coat. got it back and began pulling dents, filling and loads of sanding! got it how i want it now, grey primer but solid. sprayed the tank red and laquered. then tryed laquer over primer to achieve a kind of hotrod look. thats where im at now. forks and hubs are going to be sprayed when it gets a bit warmer. engine casings are being painted red. going for a polini kit etc to try and make a reliable quick smallframe..... comments welcome, tim

is that matte lacquer over the primer? looks a bit to shiny for my taste, but i'm now thinking along the same lines for my next scoot.

no just a thin coat of normal clear to protect it a bit and so i can wipe it down. in real life it doesnt look as shiny
