Good Morning Everyone its been a few since I last posted on the forum just been lurking in the back round... The tank in the South African currency the Rand made any builds totally not viable so just been watching with envy. Happily the Rand has gained a few point in the pas few weeks so i think i will buy my gear now before one of our politicians says something daft.
I have a V100 motor that i would like to use in a SS90 replica build I have got a Primavera drive shaft and gearbox to pair with the V100 to make it a 4 speed with the later style wheels but i would like your advice on the kit I have chosen and perhaps any changes you would suggest.
I will be buying from SIP
Polini 130 Worb 5 tuned with GS piston and head
VSP Road exhaust
Vape Race variable electronic ignition
PHBL 25b carb with malossi manifold (or should I try match with a polini CP carb and manifold)
DRT Sport clutch
Racing Crankshaft MAZZUCCHELLI RACE
I will also obviously also include the conversion harness and switches for the 12v conversion.
from what I have given here for the engine build does anyone have any changes on this kit, or will these items work okay, I will also port match the casing but would this kit benifit from port timing as well if so what timing is suggested, same as gear ratios if i want to use the bike for cafe racing with the occasional outride do i stick with standard ratios or change them and lastly can anyone give me the Jet range I should use with this for sea level so i can calculate and also bring in a jet kit accordingly.
Please any ideas and suggestions will be great
