Running a 33 Keihin on my Reed valve Evo Polini whit the current set up 38 and 140. Needle CGL clip 4. Maybe a bit on the low for that size carb?

You can't jet by recommendation. You can start at a recommendation but you still have to put in the time and money to do it properly. Best is to get it done on a local dyno by an experienced 2T shop. Next is to buy your own AFR gauge and weld on a bung.
You can also do it by ear and hacksaw. Always dial in the main first. Go up until it starts 4T then back until it just stops. Next keep going down and doing plug chops (not #$%& insulator colour, you have to cut the plug and check the "smoke" ring) until you get a nice 1.5mm to 2mm smoke ring. Next your low speed jet. Dial that in so you get a reasonable mix screw setting with a clean transition. Finally your needle. You can fine tune with the needle jet and slide as well but that requires experience/judgement.
Myself, I get it close-ish then dial it in with my AFR. It's nice to feel at ease while pinned.

Jb, I know you know what you are talking about but confess Iām lost. I have no dyno near me so have to fudge my way through all carb set ups - pleas explain a bit more š

the needle is ok but id upjet to 42/145, i have the same kit but using a 38mm pwm, i take it you didnt use the shitty standard manifold, it wouldnt fit inside my vma1 frame and was far too small, what pipe are you using ?

Yes i have the original inlet. Had to cut quite a lot to make it work. I tested whit all sorts of jet sizes and no effect. Im using the Koso af meter and the reading goes up to 14 really fast and terrible amount of smoke and oil from the pipe. I have a feeling that the oil seals have failed. It dosent rev up at all on neutral. Half throttle ok but over that it completely dies. Im using the Kifly pipe. What inlet is the best for the reed Evo, the Falc one?

An AFR of 14 is too lean. Fix the oil seals first.
