Treated my little scoot to some new shoes front and back - pads, rims, tyres and even new hubs. What a joy!! No rubbing brakes and all sweet and straight. Should have done it years ago.... always put up with old hubs on all my scoots but so many of them had a ding and weren’t straight. Hubs from Allstyles and BGM rims - the German rims are a treat - way better than all the other shit And to spare anyone else the old hubs that look completely serviceable and could be inflicted on some poor sod via eBay are going in the scrap...

No not so fancy. I bought the BGM made standard spilt rims. I got fed up sorting out clearance on the SIP rims rubbing on the clutch cover and finding tyres going flat because they don’t seal on the rim bead well.
The BGM made split rims need inner tubes but they are straight and well made - not like the Indian or Asian shit that’s usually out of line before it hits the road

Good choice Nick, I went for the same rims, old ones rubbed on the front spring, superb quality and value at €18
