So I’ve rejoined the modern lardy club so I’ve got something I can commute on - a cheapish 64 plate PX which was a cat N insurance write off. It’s got a 24mm carb and a Readspeed pipe, but I wonder if anyone can identify the cylinder without me having to pull the head off? I was thinking it might be malossi from the Brevetato stamp visible?....or is it just a bog standard job....
It'll be a malossi 166..... If it runs, hooooons and makes a nice serweet sound .....leave until you've broken it
Ooh yes it definitely does that! Thanks for identifying
It’s got a JL exhaust with a reedspeed end can and a 24mm carb. No idea what’s inside but will wait until it needs tlc before investigating more. Got to sort a sticky front calliper first. Shoved some BGM shocks on it at the weekend and then spent an hour sorting out the sheared stud on the rear hub. Its definitely been neglected for a while but enjoying sorting it. Need to check the flywheel next to see what it is
