Hi, I bought a cheap 150 Standard curry burner. I feel a bit guilty because I had the opportunity to buy back my ETS but decided I'd like something older and a bit more of a challenge. Yes, it had the twin seats and Cadillac number plate holder, and it's got an LML reedvalve motor, but it's solid & straight and I'm gradually making progress. Bodywork is good which is why I bought this one, because I hate anything to do with bodywork. I've replaced the seat, rims and tyres, and fitted a spare wheel holder. I had to fettle the gear selector as the neutral detent was too weak (I filed the quadrant because the plates were riveted out of alignment, and preloaded the spring with a washer). The front brake is now too good for the suspension, and I'll be replacing the fork with a PK one as soon as I can. Tickover is now sorted and the thing actually goes quite well, with a good push through the gears, obviously going flat pretty quickly. I'm hoping to modify the reedvalve next month, and maybe fit a BGM box exhaust. I'll also replace the gear cables and fit a SIP conversion gear pulley as the clutch lever is currently vertical in 4th.
