So my GL150 has lost all lights, horn etc and I’ve traced it to a fault on the loom. Having worked round checking it it’s clearly been repaired a few times, the main power feed to the light switch changes colour somewhere in the frame.
So I’m thinking the best thing to do is replace the whole loom. Not done one on a lardy before but surely it’s easier than a smallie? Question is can I do it with the headset and cables in or do I need to strip them all out....hopefully not....

I suppose in theory it could be done with the cables etc in place but I don't fancy trying it myself. I'd bite the bullet and clear it out first.

So bought a nice loom from Allstyles (crap really -£30 for a few wires the right length and colour....should have made the effort to make one) and have swapped the sheathing to the smallest size possible for the last section. Going to give it a go to see if i can get it through without stripping everything. Dragged scooter through house to the yard for open heart surgery tomorrow...

as juan says, much easier with the cables out and a full set of cables should not break the bank, i dont know about this model but on the smallies it helps if you remove the rear brake pedal first,
