Hello from the Netherlands!
I am new to the vespaworld and new to the forum.
I have worked on many mopeds for years and had quite a few, including:
Puch maxi's
derbi gpr
aprillia rs
And many scooters....
Decided to put that all away and make something proper:
Vespa 50 smallframe, no compromises only the sweet stuff on it!
The goal: a track beast; Under a 100cc with at least 25-30 bhp.
The why? Because I believe God loves people and I want to spread that love.
The frame:
Vespa 50L 1967 frame
Handblebarcover plc corse v50 style.
Mudguard plc corse v50 style modified
original horncover 50L
Tankseat plc corse v50 style.
Malossi rs 24/10 shock front/rear.
Pmt medium slicks front/rear.
Front end zip sp 98 (with sip conversion pin welded in to fit the 50L frame and t5 steeringhouse.)
Rear rim sip one piece.
Steeringhouse t5, plc corse modified.
Clip ons plc corse.
2 radiators from a 125cc dirtbike.
plc corse crashpad kit.
Grimeca brake caliper, gp brakeline and bgm pump, Malossi brake pads.
Honda v450 clutchhandle.
Bosch waterpump (from a carheater)
polini disc.
Killswitch.
Quickthrottle Domino.
Rear brake pedal dxc.
The engine:
Pinasco 8x slave crankcase.
yz85 yamaha motorcross cylinder, oversized to 49.8mm bore, new nycasil wall (will be maximum tuned)
(cilinder is hightend 25mm by welding and milling a new groove for the O-ring)
Vhm cylinderhead liquid cooled (will be milled and made custom for the Cylinder.)
Crankshaft quatrinni 51mm stroke extra wide for Pinasco 8x.
Exhaust custom PS-Tuning calculated for the yamaha cylinder.
Clutch plc corse Anniversery.
Clutch basket original, but reinforced.
Primary gears stock.
Benelli countershaft
Pinasco transmission 24-72 (can go to 20-22)
Carburator 38mm Keihin.
Polini ignition. Going to be pvl
I will add stuff as I go! Any tips, suggestions, whatever, all welcome, it's my first vespa...
