Hi my name is Wilhelm and I have a Spanish Vespa Primavera 125. That has an pk 125 engine(two hole intake) The engine had not been open in nearly 30 years. And I have started the process, and thinking this is easy peas. Nope is not. Compared to Vespa t5 that is my main scooter

And I have started the process, and thinking this is easy peas. Nope is not. Compared to Vespa t5 that is my main scooter Never done this before so give me some slack if this do not make sense So I have taken the engine out everything losen guit easy. My fist plan was Gear stock 2.54 Polini Evo 130 Lth midrange Rotary intake (no Reed) Polini 24mm(kehin copy) And a race crank. But then I realized that the engine needed more love as well. So now the plan is. If you guys don't have any better ideas (need all the knowledge I can get. 😀 So next plan is: Polini primary 2.56 Drt gear cross And bearing and so on. But then the rotary pad is no good. So for cylinder Parmakit 130 ECV challenger ø30 Polini 24or 26mm Lth midrange Drt full circle crank Zadra corse clutch Gonna be sporty tourer. Any thing to add or that I have forgotten?

Nice looking scooter, great basis for a project. Sorry I can’t make any suggestions as I tend to keep things standard, looking forwards to further updates

But then I tested my friends polini 130 and watched some YouTube videos, and now I want to build something fun. But not brutal. Coming soon pick of cleaning the engine and som questions on some of the bearings

So I bought some new bearings and. After thinking I changed the wheel bearing to a sealed one. Because of fear of leaking. But what about the clucht side crank bearing why not use sealed one there as well? Got a exhaust here the other day think it is a simonini down and forward. But is missing some parts and have some dents. And also got a polini snail. I feel the exhaust is a nightmare to land on. And I have side toolbox. So can not use curly exhaust Maby the down and forward is to aggressive? Or the powerband is high.

the franz pipe fits on my et3 with no problems.
these give a good spread of power and point backwards so the scoot stays clean and you dont get a face full of exhaust fumes when sat at the light
but they aint cheap and they aint quiet

Visp road and lth exhaust not sure yet. Just ordered the cylinder now 😎 so I can start open the transfer ports. Was out in the garage and hade a look pinasco engine case for the T5 for see how much I can open it. And start thinking about maby I have to weld the case on the Primavera since it's soo thin as well but gonna try not to. Some picture of my T5 engine while waiting on smallframe parts😋

Depends on your usage but for a general road motor I'd look for a heavier flywheel than you are thinking. Forget the options for the Pinasco's off the top of my head but I think they do a 1.4KG version which is more in the region I'd be looking at.
