Good morning Fellow smallframe fans.
I have been riding a DR kit on a primavera for some years now and have to say I love it as much as my Rally 180 but I have recently decided its time to build something a little quicker. I have been reading and checking for a while now on set ups etc... so I think my questions should be minimal. The engine is a 1977 100s V9B motor with Primavera guts going to be used in a 50 frame (Square Badge) on a SS90 replica build (http://vespasmallframeforum.proboards.com/thread/21797/90ss-replica-assistance?page=3). with that all in mind I have decided the most important thing here is to have a standard looking exhaust "Sip Road Banana", and because of this I do not want to to over spec the engine if the exhaust cant handle. the scooter will not be used for racing but I do like the idea of a traffic light sleeper... and if possible maybe I could also use it on tours. I have got a friend here in South Africa with dealer account at SIP and has also negotiated the agency for Polini so my choices are based mostly on purchasing from these places.
I am no mechanic but do want to port time as well as match the ports so I have spoken to a local two stroke tuner that has advised to go with a kit that is already timed to minimize the cost of development on his side. so my plan is as follows. (I have given in some places 2 or 3 options as I have no idea and need more advice)
Barrel Kit
130cc Worb5 racing cylinder kit
www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/racing+cylinder+w5+130cc+by_140005w5
or
www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/racing+cylinder+polini+gs+_140005gs I like the idea of this kit way more but would using a Sip Road Banana be okay with this?
Exhaust
www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/racing+exhaust+sip+road+ban_24169000
The carburetor will be upgraded from the standard 16mm and from research on this forum I notice that Henri recommends the Polini CP24mm with manifold if not upgrading to reed valve which I am not

12V Upgrade, again I have found in a few places that the more expensive kits (Vespatronic, Flytech, Parmakit), are basically the same so from this list I have chosen the Flytech as it is slightly cheaper and it comes with the brake light switch in the kit. unless there is a real big reason to opt for any of the others would this be okay?

www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/wiring+loom+sip+for+conversion_86125250
new loom is always important so will match the loom
www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/brake+light+switch+for+vespa+_18187800
(this Brake switch wont be necessary if I take the Flytech kit) would I also need to change the headlight switch to use these 12v Kits and if so can you please point me in the direction of one as I could'nt find one on SIP
Clutch, this is where I am totally confused
My current Primavera has a Sip Road pipe and a DR130 kit and I have used the harder spring and the clutch still slips... I have also read some of Henri's threads about using Surflex 4 plates on slight upgrade kits but also read it maybe better to overkill on the clutch in the begining so not to hassle with it again in the future... but these upgraded clutches are crazy expensive and would it be necessary to go that overboard on a clutch like a BGM so here i really need your advice and suggestions dont want to break the bank but like mentioned before rather spend once.

www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/clutch+newfren+race+for+vespa+_93495000 this seems to me to be the most financially viable and because this engine set up is not really powerful in the greater scheme of things I was thinking this would be sufficient BUT would prefer your opinions.
Cable Kit
www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/cable+kit+for+vespa+50125pv_94101200
Engine side door... I would have this small door missing this money could be rather used toward the engine.
www.sip-scootershop.com/en/products/side+panel+door+pascoli+for_76110000
as explained in the intro I would like to be able to take this scooter on tours although most of my touring is done on my rally 180 it would be nice to have a second option. so from the above will this be a possibility or will this be a simple speed runner. would I need to change maybe the gear ratio if I were to use it on tours. and from the above keeping up with P200's is it possible on the open road?
Thank you everyone for all you input on this forum I can see these build can be total bottomless pits and the information is never ending so I am sorry if these questions have been asked but from what I found I think on here I think I have narrowed it down a far amount.
