I have never come across one or heard that Triumph had done a scoot. I really like it though and the £1500 asking price seems fair enough . Are they rare and are parts even harder to find if not impossible to find?

A mate of mine has a Maicoletta, lovely old things they are. Doubt he'll ever part with it.
Triumph did the T10 and Tina, can't remember if they were one and the same with a nickname. It was an auto. They also did the Tigress which was quite a handsome big machine of 175 IIRC that shared the bodywork with a BSA 250 whos name escapes me for the time being.

I have always liked the Maicoletta , the white/cream colour one in show photo looks a good one. The Triumph scooter site is very interesting.

Triumph Tigress and BSA Sunbeam much the same as Juan says but different sized engines, 250 is a twin cylinder I believe, Tina/T10 little auto scoot and quite rare and hard to get parts for. Maico very solid and stable scoot due largely to it's large wheels. Had a go on Neil's and it was pretty good but clutch was slipping a bit.
