Ah,yes. A young Mr. Mayall and Edmunson. Found the elder and non wiser Mayall a bit of a prick really but then in his early days he gave us Kevin Turvey in a kick up the 80's, (P)Rick obviously, Alan B'Stard and who can forget the Majestic Lord Flashart?
On balance I can't dislike him but his Autobiography made a very strong case for doing just that. The singular most annoying thing I've had the displeasure to read.

yes peter cook was ace in mr jolly. the line "does anyone else know that you are here" was a classic greeting Hilary (Mr. Lovebucket's prime Heavy)- You don't look very jolly. Ralph Jolly (Peter Cook)- Just because my second name is Jolly doesn't mean I've got to be jolly all the fucking time. Classic, he's never been better since working with that Dwarf Moore.
