Hey guys,
I suppose this is more like a forum introduction rather than a business sale, but read on if you please.
I was searching the web today to see if my website was mentioned anywhere... As you do! I found someone mentioned my site here, in 2013! The answer to that particular thread is, yes I am still going, since 2001
The business I run is Scooter Cables (London) A call-out only service for geared scooters within the M25 motorway (Greater London area).
I do anything from a broken cable/puncture (split rims only), general breakdowns, servicing and all the way up to engine rebuilds. I come to you wherever you are, work, home, or the side of the road. Prices are seriously cheap considering what scooter shops will charge you nowadays (see website for prices). As I mentioned, I've been doing this call-out thing now since 2001. 14 years. Previous to that I was a mechanic in 2000 at Scooterworks (Druid St) before they moved to Enid Street. Niall from Retrospective Scooters was the shop manager at the time (funny enough I saw him today in his place near Ally Pally).
The reason I do not show a contact address on the website is that I'm call-out only (that's why I'm so cheap with little overheads). 95% of my work comes via word-of-mouth, so I can't afford to do a fk up, as those same people would tell others and I'd lose business. Besides that, I really do take pride in my work. I'm a scooter enthusiast myself. I do give guarantees on my work and will always fix for free anything that I may have done wrong (Only happened once in 2002 whoops!)
I ride a PX200E to my jobs... Sounds crazy I guess. But with what I carry on the scoot, I could take your whole engine apart and rebuild it. Believe me, I've done it quite a few times now. I have a 50 Spesh (Primmy engine, Malossi 136, elec ignition, upgeared) that I used to courier on in London, also a P125ETS (Malossi 136, Polini reed manifold, upgeared). Both of them I've completely rebuilt, new bearings, oilseals etc.
Here's the details:
