tis nice but don't get top gear for long before having to slow down.... I overheard a Scooterist from Guernsey talking to someone at the VCB rally in the lake district this weekend.... did I hear the bit about 30mph limit all over the island correctly..... ? he had a cool 3 digit number plate on his scooter

Sort of - Guernsey is 30 island wide Jersey is a blistering 40 mph.... obviously we all know where we can give it a little more... but the roads only allow a few minutes for a burst before we have to slow down....
they do have some special numbers in G-land - all bikes only have only 3 or 4 digit numbers but a car can have the same number as well, on the big island we just get what were given - still numbers but with the "J" in front....
