Planning to rebuild my v90 with new case (v90 small pad inlet) and gonna stay with rotary intake. Is there any technical available about mazzu rotary crank? (20/20, stroke 51)
And which is more reliable? Cutting mazzu or ets crank if i want go 200 inlet timing?

ets crank from stoffi's garage seems to be the best regarded crank , an at bout half the money of a mazzy 1 , H

I wouldnt buy a mazzy crank again. The one i got looked like it had been dropped as it had a dink on the flywheel side. It was also covered in scratches. Looked like a standard crank someone had taken an angel grinder to-badly. Ended up having to have it balanced and polished at extra cost which you dont expect with a brand new crank.

ets crank uses a 25mm internal diameter bearing. this is what stops the ets crank from snapping. the roller bearing type is quite expensive £40 - £55, the ball bearing type can be picked up for less than £10. whichever type you use you will need a spacer inside the fly case. the driveside circlip is ideal for this
both cranks have the large taper and use the same flywheel

there is as steve mentions the extra expense of conversion bearings to consider with a ets crank, an as gareth touches upon theres the "rumour" that mazzy cranks are just indian 1's that are split n have a roller big end put in , in large frame world they have a 50/50 rep , either bulletproof or chocalate teapot out the box , here in smallie world they seem better ,just dont use/trust the little end bearings , ask johhny SS if he'll use 1 again , but be prepared for some naughty words in the reply , H

Big end pin tolerance on mazz cranks isn't great

Then what about seal on flywheel side? Is there any conversion for v90 case, considering 24mm inner seal diameter?

I dont suppose you could point me at the bearing and seal that are talked about above also? I'm guessing I could get these in the UK but it would be nice to get all 3 items boxed off in one go and save postage etc

I can't find the bearing on their site, did find the oilseal but wasn't sure on its quality so you might be better looking elsewhere.
