I've got a pavove blue one that is nearly done if you're interested. same spec as the above. The chap I'm building it for is likely looking to offload it straight away due to lack of funds. That's if you're in the market to spend ~$5k.

That little 50 sure grew up nicely! Any tips on cutting down the legshields? I've been wanting to make a beater ss out of a bluebadge for city riding + commuting.

I would generally agree - but i've seen more of those things for sale in the midwest than I could ever know what to do with. Seems like every farmer has one or two kicking around somewhere.

Ideally you want the early V50 frame to start. The steering column to seat distance is proper. The V90/100/125 and primmy frame is longer and the dummytank doesn't fit right. D

Thats the odd thing - the bluebadge is the shorter wheelbase model. Rectangular badge on the horncrest as well. Only model sold in USA that you can make a semi-perfect ss replica out of. I've spent some time measuring a friends and comparing it to my ss. Perfectly the same in every way, save for the legshields (obviously), and it's lacking that little side brace inside the left hand cowl.
Anyways, hate to take the focus off of yours - it's beautiful! Powdercoated wheels and forks?

Powdercoated wheels and forks? Nope. Sprayed them myself with the satin black. If it was for myself it would have been powdercoated. The mate I built it for said he would get to it. We had enough issue. He didn't want to miss the entire summer. d
