Mini update, vhsb 34 has arrived ;D enormous compared to the standard 16mm By subitus, shot with KC910 at 2009-03-25 Soon discovered that the 34mm require a bit more wire lift than the previous one. So I fabricated a new "handlebar insert" whit a total lift of 44mm By subitus, shot with KC910 at 2009-03-25 Since the first pic the engine is now assembled and squish has been adjusted to 1.5mm. C-yaaaa.....

Oh my F**** god! Got my shit together this Sunday night, test started it (happy neighbors) and drove it a few meters in first gear. I wasn't really prepared for the pull, went straight up in the air on maybe 1/3 throttle.... Will have a proper run tomorrow! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah..... Pure happiness!

First problem occurred! Clutch is "out of order"! The longer clutch "tap/rod/push-thing/made in brass" I have fabricated is a few millimeters to short. Needed a longer than standard since I had to move the clutch cover out 3mm for the DRT basket. Yippee! Take it a part once more! this has go to be one of the prettiest Vespas I have ever seen. Thanks m8, nice to know I'm going the right direction.

Hi John. What clutch cover do you use? The short arm cover had issues with the DRT basket, but I tried a long arm cover on there and it seemed fine. should I be worried? I'm hopeing to get it ready for Ale ring... First problem occurred! Clutch is "out of order"! The longer clutch "tap/rod/push-thing/made in brass" I have fabricated is a few millimeters to short. I'm hopeing to get it ready for Ale ring... I use the standard one, old type I think, short arm. So you have no DRT clearence issues whit the "long arm" model?? Wich models have the long arm cover? PK? Nice, you are going to "Ale ring", Im hoping on getting there, just have to sort this out.

Drt has no clearance issues with long arm cover. You may have had a problem with the plunger touching the pressure plate tho. Try cover without clutch first John. The longer arm cover works well with the falc clutch and drt.

It's seems to work OK, but i don't have the engine running yet so we'll see... would love to see you take a blast on the falc in Gtb. It will be my first go on a track som i'm kinda nevous... would be nice with some company in the LOCO class tho thanks for confirming there's no issues Tony.

Im sorry fellas for being obscure, the primed scoot is a v50 Im doing simultaneously to the primmy falc. The pic was only to illustrate the paintbox/wankchamber build that have delayed the falc build. Will post some "completed" pics once I get it on the road again.

John Sorry cant help you out, all I know is that some 50 specials had it. my 90 and primmy didn't. But the primmy we got in bits from Sweden came with one so... The PK's I have fettled with have have a 3rd clutchcover, but I don't know it that clears it... have you tried asking for one on the SSK forum? just remember that you need a different cable guide (bracket for adjuster screw) as well. Engine is out of the scooter for clutch adjustment. Little bit busy at work right now, hang in there Perkin... Update prob next week. Oi! tony or unrealbic was it the PK that had the long arm? Long arm cover no longer needed... Did a new push rod in the lathe today whit maximum lift.... Didn't help..... Its the f*ckin back of the clutch center that touches the DRT basket on its inner flange when tightening.... F*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck, f*ck.... rebuild again.... update maybe next year.....
