Chaps, I want to bore out an SI carb for a SS180 I'm tuning for a friend, anyone know how the spray nozzle comes out? Cheers Dave

Hey Dave Not sure if you've done it already but it literally pulls out, it's a snug push fit tho so you need to be delicate

Cheers Bro, didn't do it in the end, couldn't risk fucking up (someone else's) expensive carb Didn't matter though, turns out the owner'd a bit of an old woman & complained to his club mates that "all it wants to do is go faster", err that's the point of tuning mate. SS180 barrel, rasied, skimmed & ported, piston cut-outs matched, Inlet matched/flowed, variotronic flywheel etc & a SIP standard-plus pipe = 13 BHP on the esteemed Mr Howes (Jahspeed) dyno. quite chuffed, feels "peppy" on the road too.

To be honest there's no noticeable different when they're bored out, few people I know done it and said couldn't tell. Better upgrade would be the T5 carb with the larger air filter tho :-D
