... Hank... is the pk50 well? The PK is not well at present but the engine is in now, so its a strong possibility that it will make it ;D Alas, the cutdown (racer) project is still very much in pieces

Just got my letter ;D £90 for the weekend though wife wasnt impressed.... Proper excited now. Why did it cost that much ? £20 entry for both days with camping £35 per day full sprint pass. A little more than last year and with it being 2 days... Peanuts for the racers i suppose.. And thats before a £5 burger.... Should be fun though and it doesnt uappen all the time...

racing a weekend is twice that. Although you will get more track time with the bsso i would say ( 2 to 3 x15min races approx and a practise per day)

Every single person (that i know) that attended last years Scooter Shootout "Thoroughly enjoyed the event"... the only criticism being we slightly overwhelmed the organisers, for food catering and signing on for the sprinting...... it sounds like these issues will be sorted for this years event which is great news, and the fact that its a two dayer is great for the long distance visitors.... HOWEVER, everyone i know that is toying with the idea of going again this year, is gobsmacked with the PISS POOR advertising for the event and the lack of clear info, when after all we are only 2 weekends away from it..... The official website wasnt clear when i saw it last.... last year you couldnt avoid the info "Flyers , magazine adverts, and a positive vibe flying around the internet".. But this year all im hearing is tales of fallouts between last years joint organisers.... i can only imagine how difficult organising scooter related events are, but this one is causing confusion to many....... at the scooter racing AGM it norrowly lost out "by 2 votes" on being a points scoring round in the scooter racing championship.. yet many racers are not attending because of the earlier uncertainty.. ? im looking forward to it, and will be only to pleased to support it

I am attending it cos I want to race my bike but am not well enough to ride it round a track. i can however launch it up a straightline. Hopefully next year I will be well. And maybe straightliners will do a little more advertising. I do believe tho this will be a massive success

so... there are quite a few tuned smallies on this site as well as a few exotic creations , (waynes, Ozoap's etc). So... who is going? I would really like to see an area for the forum members in the paddock. its about time! I know gareth is planning to take (my ex race motor) his race bike.. col is gonna ride dazfalc's falc... martin hotwheels has around 20 works falc engines by now and may take at least one.. and maybe a quattrini m1lr ( ) Shaggy is going on his sprinter.. shane will be there changing engines for fun... and max italian will be coming all the way from sicily (bath). Anyone else? ... Hank... is the pk50 well? Jim? You are only down the road? Adam? And if anyone fancies it... it would be great to meet you vespa or not.. have a beer saturday evening and a giggle. ;D Nope, think we are going to Strictly Scooters at Nottingham same weekend. Think there is a bit of unhappiness among club members at the cost this year compared to last. Doesn't really bother me as I doubt I'd be going up the strip. Might all change last minute though.

I think it's that for many of our lot they wanted one or two runs up the strip which they could pay for run by run last time, they're not interested in a day ticket because that is valuable drinking time.
Anyways see what happens nearer the time...
