Nice project. Keep progress pictures coming in please. Before I bought my 50special, I wanted to buy an et3 but could not find one. Soon after I got the special, I kept finding et3s for sale ( bloody tipical ).

Small question, i have sent the frame and engine numbers to the VCB and i now have a date certificate for my Primmy. The scoots frame at the frame no. area was a bit rusty and i am a bit worried about losing the no. when its blasted, painted etc. Does the number have to be visible to register and obtain logbook or if i get a plate made with both engine and frame numbers on it is that acceptable ?

get some gaffer over the numbers before its blasted-explain to blaster.. and sorted.

Got one of them for the Sv, and at point of registration it nearly caused me more bother than it was worth!
Why? (I hear you ask)
Because it was in German!
Luckily he could read enough of the original frame stap to cross reference it, otherwise it could have been a right fucking nightmare
