Just being provocative because the 'LARDY' part of the forum! Still got the Primmy but working on 250 class for next year with a PX engine in Smally frame that raced in the 90's.
Quattrini M1X, new stub welded to suit, 62 square engine, reed with 38 and Vtronic, DRT box.
Tough day seized second run, air leak on reed as new casings bundled together in a few days after throwing 2nd and smashing previous at Elvington week before. Stanlied rings out and got going again for Shaun to set time before seizing again before could upgear as it was revving out, it could have done more we think.
We think its the fastest, the Siluro (1951) was an opposed twin so doesn't count and the best the Germans do on a 1/4 with PX is 14.3 with Saban Bayer to our 13.82!? Correct if wrong.
Shame you wern't there Tony, Im sure the engine Charley built you woud have beaten it partic over the longer distances and the water cooling.

I dont have water cooling mate. Its just air cooled 153cc. But it will do its speeds for some time even without LC. The nurburgring trip proved that as the races were over half hour.. I am not a tuner... not anymore. Charley is at the top of his game for sure. His engines do not blow up. The barrel/pipe/carb is Charley's design.. the other parts are Falc-ok some developed (like the clutch by me)... But I built the motor.
Lauro does make a LC powervalve barrel now.. with that we could run more advance.. mmm....
Well done on the run.

I have seen a couple of 13's from Saban in the past, but I don't know his quickest time. Does your time include reaction time, or are you talking about the pure driving time? Anyway, I like what you're doing, good luck for your projects! Have you ever thought about a smallie for sprinting? They seem to be faster than the lardys, at least, in Italy and Germany that is.
