Just bought the evo myself, I think it was roughly £280 from sip but wayne may do it cheaper. Trouble is though is the exhaust and everything else that suits it is very costly :/ PM Tuning do the polini evo for £250 posted. I don't think you can get it cheaper anywhere else unless, Wayne can match the price.

Would the parma suit a PM40 exhaust, or is it a revvy kit (PM40 isn't a revvy pipe, or so I'm told...?)

Just tidying up my 1964 Vespa 90 that's been sat around for some time. It has all the original kit but was resprayed some time ago. Glad to see there are other classic fans around!

If you're using the standard basket on your primaries get the rivets welded to the cover plate, they tend to loosen up a bit after a few hundred miles if you're engine is even mildly tuned....

I bought a surflex basket 2nd hand from a chap on here, turns out to be this one... vespasmallframeforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=technical&thread=6681&page=1Which as you can see is rather well welded...!! ;D (was worried a bit too well welded, but everything clears fine)

Ported and polished my casings at the weekend. Polini 130 ports aren't exactly a big job but I'm pretty cack-handed so am pleased with how they turned out... last time was disastrous and involved lots of welding etc. I went for a nice curve, echoing the original, and went steady. Didn't break through the wall at all. I'd like to thank the flexible dremel attachment for making the job a whole lot easier (and only £6 from ebay). Before: After:

Nice job! When I've seen pics like this it always seemed so easy, until I've done it myself Really nice finishing mate!

Looking good jimmy.
I notice the hole to lubricate the flywheel side bearing appears to be blanked but you can see it from the other side in an image from an earlier post.
Is it worth drilling this through?
