100mphscooter.com Proposed Class and Class Rules revisions
The 100mphscooter.com classes and class rules were written at the end of 2008 to launch the club in 2009 as there needed to be a way of differentiating one class from another. For the same reason we listed some simple rules which where suitable for the four or five of us who were sprinting at that time and which were simple enough to attract new riders so that anyone could just turn up and take part. And they achieved what were intended to do.
Now though, and especially with feedback from Scooter Shootout, the classes and class rules are too basic. So over the Christmas break they have been revised ready for discussion at the Straightliners AGM on 21st January. I have uploaded the proposed revised classes and class rules here www.100mphscooter.com/class-rules2012.html for all to see in advance of the AGM.
There’s no need for anyone currently building to be concerned, as they are basically improved 2011 classes and class rules made easier to understand, and which shall make sprinting in 2012 more fun to take part in.
