Where do you live? That is Vince Chu's old race bike. Mark from the Phonies was selling that recently. I am glad to see someone picked that up.
For all you Euro people, that bike was for sale here in California.

I bought it from Mark. Nice guy to deal with. He broke it down and packaged/crated everything and shipped it to me in Atlanta.
Any ideas how I can get this thing back on the streets without a vin#?

No idea on the ins and outs Stateside but I'm sure some of the other members on your side of the Pond might be able to offer assistance.

There are a couple ways. You can get the paperwork together for a "special project". They will give you a vin number plate to rivet to it after a bunch of bullshit paperwork.
Or...you can find a trashed frame, cut the numbers off and weld them onto that frame. No DMV person will know the proper place for the number to be so you could just weld them near where they are supposed to be. That is what I am doing on a cut down project I am working on.
