I don´t have all of my pictures yet, but these are some that are going around in facebook..
I could manage to record a little just before the race at the boxes area and before they went to prepare on track.
Needless to say that it was a great race, also hard, very hard. It was terribly hot on friday night and saturday. Racing 'styles' were awesome, it looked like a mini motoGP from the wall. Very competitive driving and super-mega-competivie and FAST scooters.
Few accidents and falls, few broken engines,, but, this is how it is, init? That´s called endurance, and we like it here.
Night race was so beautiful. No-one 'reduced' their speed or driving 'manners'.
I didn´t race. I took care of a bunch of tired and exhausted riders but there were TWO lady riders! A Spanish and a French lady, yeah!
I´m going to be high in the sky until next year, I tell you. Still in the clouds because of the intense weekend. and now preparing for next barbacue,, I mean,, race.., cause I´ll be racing, well, I´d better say I´ll be chasing the one in front of me and in charge of the fireworks after the barbacue.. xD
6 hours to celebrate Summer solstice
Team Vespa Barcelona youtube channel has plenty of videos for you to enjoy.
Last year´s photographer, Jean Michel Lemarie was here again. Some time soon he´ll post his pictures on his website, we shall see..
