Some of you may of seen the new PRO range of shocks by BGM?Scooter Center. I was very lucky to receive a rear one for testing at Mallory last sunday. Ok... I didnt last that long on the bike but even only in ten laps I could immediately tell how good it was. Obviously this is from a race perspective and most of you ride on the road but I think it will be even better for the road in its current form as tested by me. For race use I have requested a slightly heavier oil but the rest is superb. The bike felt much more stable through the 90mph Gerards corner. I cant wait for the intended front shock which I will be testing soon. I have made some minor revisons to the lower bracket to suit my jacked up race bike but this wont be necessary for the road though I do know Scooter Center are looking into this modification and tidying it up for possible production. Compression and rebound damping is adjustable independantly as is spring preload I was using the upper ranges on the damping controls but for the road I think they have it spot on.. definately gets the thumbs up from me and I will look at buying some for my road 90ss if I ever get time to put it back on the road.

Thanks for the review Tony. I do like the look of the shock and the price is not bad too.
Will they do one for PK forks?

Pk shock is on the cards with some neat ideas on the height issue in v range frames too. Hopefully I will have one to test in a few weeks. If not soon after. I protected the reservoir with heat reflective material. But this won't be an issue as road pipes generally do not route this way. Price is €200 so about what £185 ?

ttscshaggy...
nice = is that a custom powder coat or something = bling bling
both of those looks to be rear shocks... one with adjustable spring threading while the other is a progressive spring with no spring adjustment... that right...??
or the powder coast filled in the adjustment threads...??
either way = puuurty

That looks very smart, couldn't bring myself to spend that money on a V range fork though.
